Sclerotherapy RN/NP (full-time OR part-time)

Lakeshore Vein & Aesthetics Clinic (Lakeshore) is an accredited full-service non-surgical and medical cosmetic center committed to unsurpassed dermatology-related patient care, leading-edge cosmetic treatments and discreet, safe, professional care delivered in a premier spa-like environment. Established in 2008, Lakeshore delivers skin care and vein treatment to medical patients and cosmetic clients by certified medical doctors, nursing staff, laser technicians, aestheticians and skin care product specialists.

Lakeshore is currently hiring a registered nurse or a nurse practitioner (full time OR part time) who is highly professional, personable, and passionate about aesthetics. This is a very rewarding area of nursing with long-term patient relationships and focus on wellness.

Primary responsibilities of a nurse at Lakeshore clinic include:

• Conducting patient consultations (only NP),
• Interpreting diagnostic tests (only NP),
• Prescribing medications and therapies (only NP),
• Performing sclerotherapy to treat varicose veins,
• Assisting physicians during medical treatments,
• Educating clients on procedures and answering their questions or concerns,
• Fostering a client-centered approach to service,
• Collaborating with the team to accommodate changing demands in this dynamic environment.

This could be the role for you if you have:

• A current Canadian accreditation as a RN or NP,

• A minimum 2 years of acute care experience,

• Prior experience performing therapies practiced by Lakeshore,

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,

• Highly professional conduct and appearance,

• Dedication to patient care, safety, and service excellence,

• Team spirit and good energy to work well in a fast-paced environment,

• Availability to work full-time (Mon-Fri, 8:30-4:30) or 2-3 days/week, onsite at the clinic.
