As a Highstreet Project Coordinator, you're responsible for communication between consultants and sub trades, while being the overall administrative support for Project Managers from the budgeting phase through to project handover, while collaborating with people across all areas of the company. The role is full time in our head office located in Kelowna.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Support and assist Project Manager from development through to construction phase, including land due diligence and permitting process, preparing scopes of work, tender packages, project schedules, project billings and reports, and project handover.
Coordinate development and construction with municipal and other government agencies, consultants, suppliers and trades.
Maintenance of all project logs including the coordination and preparation of monthly project progress reports; i.e. forecast cost reports, schedules, and status reports.
Prepare completion certificates and required project close out documentation.
Co-ordinate with professional consultants and construction managers on RFI’s, Change Directives, Change Orders, and Site Instructions.
Responsible for all aspects of construction administration for current projects.
Prepare required project close out documentation.
Monitor, co-ordinate and expedite the flow of work using MS Project, MS Outlook and other software programs.
Special Projects as required.
Desire to learn how to build better buildings with Net-Zero and Zero Carbon initiatives.

1-2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or equivalent role
Diploma in Architectural/Building Design, or related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project)
Previous experience using MS Project, PROCORE and AutoCAD is an asset
