If you answered yes to these questions, we have the job for you! Highstreet is looking to grow our construction team with a full-time Quality Control Coordinator on our multifamily construction site in West Kelowna, BC.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Quality Control Coordinator, this role is responsible for aiding a project to completion with quality protocols and assessments to align with the overall project scope while using your general carpentry knowledge.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Work closely with Superintendents and Site Foreman while assisting in the implementation of QA/QC protocols to company standards
  • On-site assessment prior to new scopes commencing work to ensure that the job is ready and addressing any concerns
  • Inspecting and measuring completed work
  • Helping to facilitate communication between trades
  • Lead project closeout inspection process
  • Maintain all required reporting / logs as required

  • Have good physical conditioning and stamina
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation

Required experience:

  • 1+ years experience within a QC role or similar compacity on a construction site
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and regulations
  • Possess general understanding of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines
  • Keen negotiator in matters related to quality and can get your point across clearly and precisely
  • Have good physical conditioning and stamina
