Opportunity

Bylands is seeking a people oriented, motivated Sales Manager to support the sales team and nurture existing and future customer relationships. Providing guidance and strong leadership, the Sales Manager oversees all activities within the sales team to ensure client demand is satisfied and proper resources are available. With the goal of delivering outstanding value and service to customers and supporting Bylands culture of excellence, this position:

  • Develops and motivates a strong team through frequent communication, incentive programs and one-on-one feedback
  • Through market research, sources and develops relationships with new customers
  • Preserves current client relationships with key accounts and introduces them to new products, services and solutions
  • Ensures prices, services and products are competitive and fair in the marketplace; leads product pricing on an annual basis in collaboration with the management team
  • Participates in the creation of annual sales forecasts and budgets
  • Provides ongoing coaching, training and development and goal creation with the sales team

As a leader within Bylands, the Sales Manager will champion the organizational culture while driving the vision of “Enhancing lives with plants” throughout their team and sales objectives. To be successful within this role, the candidate will possess the following:

  • A business degree or other relevant educational background
  • 3-5+ years’ experience leading a sales team
  • Proven success in planning and implementing market research and sales strategy
  • High level of accountability
  • Ability to adapt to meet client’s needs
  • Analytical mindset
  • Superb problem solving, communication and negotiation skills
