If you answered yes to these questions, we have the job for you. Highstreet is currently seeking to fill the position of Site & Safety Coordinator to join our growing construction team. This role has expected hours of 7:00 am-5:00 pm Monday through Friday on our construction sites located in the Okanagan.

A Site & Safety Coordinator with Highstreet is involved in the overall organization and safety from a site administrative perspective. Your main duty is to ensure that the company and all workers on the construction site are complying and adhering to Highstreet’s Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines.

This person must consistently convey mature professional judgment,

be competent in safety management, systems,  and be able to apply them in a work setting with minimal to no supervision.

The day-to-day tasks would include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for site safety and record keeping
  • Support the Site Supervisors and Foreman with site-related administrative needs.
  • Coordinate client, trade, and consultant site visits, meetings, and inspections.
  • Coordinate delivery tracking, issuing PO’s, material procurement, and other project items.



A highly motivated individual who enjoys learning new skills and growing upon current strengths. You will convey a mature professional prowess, be competent in site administration and safety management and be able to apply them in a construction work setting with minimal to no supervision.

Ideal Experience:

  • 1+ years' experience within on-site safety administration or equivalent role
  • Having good working knowledge of local government Health & Safety Acts, Policies, Regulations, and Industry Standards as they apply to the construction industry is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel) required
  • Level II First Aid an asset
  • Class 5 Drivers License and reliable vehicle required
